Teaching the art of commercial shaving

 The BBA are looking for a team of barbers
The BBA are looking for a team of barbers who are not only commercial shavers, but who are also able to teach the skill and knowledge to the highest standard.

There is currently a shortage of commercial level, shaving teachers across the country that possesses the ability to teach both the technical skill and underpinning knowledge. To support this need VTCT and the BBA are joining forces to locate and support the teaching of commercial shaving in training providers.

Commercial shaving is one of the most technical services performed by barbers and is offered daily across the country. Shaving has always been an optional unit in barbering qualifications but in the new Hair Professional Apprenticeship Standard for Barbering, it is now mandatory.

The BBA are looking for a team of barbers who are not only commercial shavers, but who are also able to teach the skill and knowledge to the highest standard, to support learners achieve a distinction grade in their qualification.
