College Tour

The BBA team are starting the new year as they mean to go on - inspiring barbering students across the country. Next week, two members of the BBA team are going on a tour of colleges across the UK visiting Newcastle, Halesowen, Cambridge, Ipswich, Norwich, Belfast, Farnham and Southampton.

As well as doing demonstrations, they will also be discussing the fantastic barbering industry and taking part in a Q & A session with the students.

You will be able to keep up to date with their travels through our social media, so make sure you log on and keep track of them.

If your are a college we are not visiting this time, don’t worry because we will be on the road again very soon. If you would like to enter the Student Barber of the Year Competition please keep an eye on our website www.britishbarbers.com where the competition packs will soon be available to download.

BBA Annual Competitions

The BBA competitions are now in their 6th year of running and are Britain’s most entered competitions. As always - big thanks to the Denman brands for their continuous support of the BBA competitions.

Every year we are overwhelmed by the number of entries and the standard of work for each of our competitions.

You may have seen the new BBA Hall of Fame! It has been in the latest edition of the Modern Barber magazine, as well as all over social media. To be entered into the BBA Hall of Fame you must receive a top place in one of our annual competitions or be voted first in our Members monthly leader board. You have to be in it to win it!

Pro Hair Live

Word on the street is that Professional Hairdresser this year will be great! Barbering is certainly being catered for with it’s very own Wahl Street (we see what they did there). Mr Simon Shaw came up with this fantastic idea and it will certainly be packed with top barbering brands.

You can still expect to see other major barbering brands including our competition sponsors - Denman International and keep your eyes peeled for the famous guys from Schorem who will also be showcasing their talents at the show.

Britain's Best Shave

Britain’s Best Shave, sponsored by Bluebeard’s Revenge returns in 2016 and the BBA will be travelling across the UK in March to host the heats of the competition.
