Bloody hell! October has been a whirlwind of a month at Savills. The start of the month saw our Academy Manager Jamie Dunning being awarded the coveted Wahl Barber of the Year down at Salon International in London. This is a huge accolade for Jamie and has resulted in him joining the Wahl Creative Team..........a huge well done, we're massively proud of him! The trophy now has pride of place in our shop window and has scored a hat trick for our amazing team, who during the course of the year have also won Barber shop of the Year (June) and Giovanni Tornese was crowned Apprentice Barber of the Year (May) .

There'll be more of an update on Giovanni's barbering shenanigans in next month's post!. Mid October, I was honoured to be asked to join the throng of key influencers at the British Barbering Association's networking event within the illustrious surroundings of The Barber Surgeon's Hall in London. What a building and what a gathering! The great and good of the profession got together to share best practice, views and ideas to further shape the great British barbering industry and it was awesome. Later in the month Jamie and myself hit the road yet again, this time with the Wahl Creative Team at the British Master Barbers Awards in London. This time we were honoured to be guests and ambassadors of Wahl. Since then. we've hardly drawn breath, and we are now well into November, during which we've been involved in loads more brilliant activities and events.
