Well only today I spent the morning with my fellow Hairbond artistic member Lynndy Rolfe, she invited me to help her out with a demo for some students at a training provider in Northampton, it was a great morning spreading my passion for barbering with the next generation of hairdressers.
There’s plenty of enquires coming in for next year for salon visits, education days and CPD events, its starting to look like an eventful year ahead.
From a Hairbond point of view, we’ve had it confirmed that the artistic team will be making stage appearances at all three of the Salon International events, two in London and one in Manchester, I’m already looking forward to these and have already started planning, if only in my head at the moment, what I want to showcase.
We were lucky enough that one of my clients lent us the use of his DSLR camera, we like to take a few pictures of our work and share what we do through our social media outlets, as many of us do, but I’ve got to say that this camera is life changing, all of a sudden we are producing high quality images in our own time , capturing haircuts as they’re produced, so guess what I’m asking Santa for this year?
Right time to go again, I’m being moaned at for not doing my jobs, speak soon.

Well what has happened, Christmas is almost upon us, queue’s are forming, working past closing time, we know its that time of year
Christmas parties are happening, our wife’s are panicking with last minute shopping, the thought of family members turning up at your house and expecting to wined and dined, but would we change it?
So what have I been doing, apart from running my son all over the place for various swimming events, I’ve been stood behind my chair an awful lot, snipping away in my own little world.
